I survived the Knitty Gritty shoot! Over an hour late for my call time, horrendous traffic and a fender bender to get there, but I made it! What a crazy day. More details later, but now I have a date with some spinach artichoke dip and an episode of Battlestar Galactica.

oooooh, I didn't know you liked battlestar too! (don't tell me anything about this week's episode, though; I haven't seen it yet)

Is there a correlation between knitting and sci-fi? Don't misunderstand, I'm totally with you on this, but I just read YarnHarlot's post about her knitty gritty experience, and I couldn't help but notice she watched Firefly (another one I love) on the return flight home. That's two in two days, plus me and nadira... Hmmm. Odd considering it is commonly believed that women don't watch sci-fi. Looking forward to your kg episde!

I am a BIG DAMN BROWNCOAT! Lurves me some Firefly, I do.

Did you know that the group doing the effects for BSG, Rhythm and Hues, also did hte effects for Serenity? That's why some of the feel is very similar. Also, in the miniseries, when everyone is fleeing Caprica? There's a teeeeeeensy Serenity in one of the frames. Seriously.
