Ok I am pondering uses for white truffle infused olive oil seeing as how I now have 8.5 oz of it sitting in my cupboard. 30% off, even. I love my job.

So lay your food pr0n on me, what's your favorite use for truffle oil goodness?

hmm, i've never used it. first husband - meat and taters guy. long term cohabitant - meat and taters guy. 2nd and current husband - omg is he the pickiest eater or what?????

so, sadly, no use for fancy shmancy goodies that i'd love to eat here.

where do you work?

I work at O&Co (oliviers and company) and we sell artisan olive oils, truffles, high end balsamic vinegars, pastas, tapanades and other goodies. It's a FAB job. I love it. :-)

I have some white truffle oil too, and am not wild over it (*black* truffles, on the other hand...)

The white kind is good for pasta, bread dipping, etc. And for some reason I am thinking of green beans...

Probably a day late and a donut short on this entry, but I would use it over the farfalle pasta and eggs dish that Jacques has in his cookbook -- here's a website with the recipe:

I would leave out the cheese, cut back on the olive oil (regular stuff) and when the dish is finished, just drizzle with the oil.

I use it on any kind of meat, like chicken or steak, but just a little goes a long way
